We listen, act, and transform
Many of us feel overwhelmed by the world that we live in. Oftentimes it helps to have someone to listen about the concerns we have or the things that make us feel despair. Therapy can be a great way to get some of these feelings out of our heads and into the world where they often appear more manageable and less overwhelming. I believe therapy should be collaborative and that I, as the therapist, should sit with you in whatever state you are in and that we should both work together to address your needs.
In our initial visit, we will get to know each other, and I will guide you through what to expect from the therapy you will receive. From there, we will both work together to find the therapeutic techniques that best speak to you. I am a client-centered and existential therapist and I have experience with CBT, DBT, SFBT, and other therapeutic modalities.
There are many therapeutic providers in our state and, whomever you chose, I hope you find someone that makes you feel seen and heard and I am more than willing to be that person for you.
